Transform your skin with light therapy
IPL, intense puled light, skin rejuvenation involves laser light energy to improve the structure and appearance of the skin. By heating the underlying tissue, new cells are generated and damaged skin cells are removed to create a more even skin tone and texture.
In addition to Dr Berman's qualifications, I was completely amazed of the phenomenal customer service provided by everyone at the office. There is no comparison with the other providers that I went for consultations before deciding to go with Dr Berman.

The Cynosure laser MaxG™ handpiece is specifically designed as a laser for pigmentation removal. Unwanted skin pigment, including brown spots, freckles, dark circles beneath the eyes, age spots and melasma, absorb the powerful light energy, which shatters the pigment into tiny fragments, making them less visible. The same light wave technology lessens or eliminates skin redness, such as rosacea and broken capillaries. The result: Skin looks younger and clearer, and areas of pigment and/or broken capillaries are either much lighter or have been eliminated entirely. Repeated treatments, based about a month apart, will increase results.
South Florida plastic surgery patients benefit from an Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) treatment for these specific skin conditions on the face, neck, chest, arms, hands, legs and feet:
- Sun damage
- Hyperpigmentation: Brown spots, Freckles, Age spots
- Broken capillaries
- Dark circles beneath the eyes
Prior to your IPL treatment at our Boca Raton plastic surgery practice, we will apply an anesthetic cream to numb your skin. After 30-45 minutes, the cream is rinsed off. Both you and Dr. Berman will wear protective goggles during your IPL treatment, which takes about 30-60 minutes, depending upon the number of areas to be treated. Our Boca Raton IPL patients experience minimal discomfort, thanks to the combination of the cream anesthetic and the cooling hand piece used during IPL treatment.
Most of our Boca Raton IPL patients return to their day’s schedule immediately after their treatment session. Please be aware that the pigment in the treated area(s) will temporarily become darker. As the pigment begins to slough away, you’ll see clearer skin.
