As an avid cyclist, Dr. Berman regularly cycles 120-150 miles per week. He also participates in many cycling charity events, such as the Multiple Sclerosis 200. Dr. Berman has participated in the National Multiple Sclerosis Society cycling event since 2010, and has raised more than $25,000 for MS. This past March, he individually raised $6,620. Both he and his team were among the top contributors at the event.
Dr. Berman is the president of the Boca Raton Bicycle Club, as well as a sponsor for the Delray Twilight Bicycle Festival. He advocates the importance of bicycle safety and has taught children the importance of wearing a helmet.
Dr. Berman also enjoys playing charity golf events, including the American Cancer Society, the American Foundation for AIDS Research, and Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America. In addition, he enjoys skiing, baseball, hockey, and playing the piano.
