Who is a good candidate?

Children should also be five years old or older before undergoing otoplasty surgery, so the ear’s cartilage is stable enough for surgery, as the ear has achieved 80% of its adult size by this time.
Teenagers and adults who are good candidates include healthy individuals who do not smoke, and who have reasonable expectations for the outcome of their procedure.
Results

Final results will become visible when the initial phases of healing are complete, and dressings are removed.
