Otoplasty
Otoplasty is an operation in which prominent and protruding ears are repositioned and reshaped so they are more attractive and sit in a more favorable position on the side of the head.
The procedure is an easy one both for the patient and the physician. The surgery takes me less than two hours and can be performed under local anesthesia.
Surgery is performed on young children as well as adults. Julie Golden, a newscaster for "Good Day New York", underwent the procedure in my office. Her film crew came in and filmed the procedure. It aired on New York television.
